Aruba strengthens commitment to Partners at the Asia Pacific Partner Conference

First virtual event for Aruba’s channel partners with new programs to help them prepare for the next phase of business growth

 

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 10 September 2020 - Aruba, a Hewlett PackardEnterprise company (NYSE: HPE), hosted its Aruba Atmosphere (ATM)Asia Pacific Partner Conference in a fully virtual event for the first time,bringing parnters from across the region.


The event, which attracts hundreds of partner attendees everyyear, comes as the highly anticipated ATM has also gone online amid the ongoingglobal pandemic. Along with the new format, this year's event outlined how Arubais poised to collaborate with partners by providing them with new businessmodels to navigate the changing market landscape and to become digital-ready.

Aruba's Partner Plan for Everything-as-a-Service

 

Aruba announcedits partner strategy will focus on managed services, delivering networksolutions as everything-as-a-service (XaaS) given the rapid shift to cloud, digital transformation and emergence ofhybrid workplace. These will include partner branded and Aruba brandedofferings that Aruba partners will exclusively take to market: 

 

  • Partner Branded: forAruba Partners who wish resell and deliver to customers their network solutions.
  • Partner-Aruba Branded: forAruba managed services providers, using the partner's own capability to delivercloud-managed networks to their customers using an as-a-service modelunderpinned by the partners own network operations center (NOC) and customersuccess staff. 
  • Aruba Branded: for partnersto deliver to their customers, using Aruba cloud managed network, supported byAruba's NOC and customer success staff based on an as-a-service model usingsubscription billing.

 

"With thechanging enterprise needs brought by the accelerated phase of their digitaltransformation journeys, our focus is to provide our channel partners a robustset of programs that will help them scale business results," added Smith. "Thisplan will outline through our 'six bold moves,' which will help guide Aruba partnersand distributors on this journey into the next fiscal year."


Aruba alsoannounced its small to medium business (SMB) strategy which aims to support companiesthrough cloud managed and app managed network solutions such as the ArubaInstrant On products to keep their business up and running. This strategy allowspartners to customize their approach achieve profitability and establishdifferentiation in the market for customers.

 

Earlier in June2020, Aruba made enhancements to its Aruba Partner Ready forManaged Services Porvider (MSP)program that will give partners more flexibility when working with customers. "ThroughMSP, partners in APJ can enable their business with Aruba provided sales andmarketing assets and products to fast-track go-to-market presence for networkas a service," said Aiden James Greene, APJ MSP Program Lead at Aruba. Arubawill work with partners in setting up this services line and provide the salesand marketing assets at minimal cost.
