Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning has donated US$50,000to establish a scholarship program at the Asian University for Women inChittagong, Bangladesh.

  

CHITTAGONG, BANGLADESHMediaOutReach - September 25, 2018 - AsianUniversity for Women ("AUW") andJohnsonControls-Hitachi Air Conditioning, Inc. announced today that JohnsonControls-Hitachi Air Conditioning has donated US$50,000 to support full scholarshipsfor students of Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. AUW isa leading international, independent university for women in South Asia that iscommitted to making world-class liberal arts and sciences education accessible towomen who aim to become leaders in their communities. Johnson Controls-HitachiAir Conditioning is a leading provider of air conditioning solutionsheadquartered in Japan.

 

The JohnsonControls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Scholarship will be granted to highly-motivatedyoung Asian women who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership ability asthey develop their skills, expertise, and professional networks to solve themost pressing issues of the day with innovative and bold solutions. The scholarshipswill covertheir tuition, room and board, healthcare, textbooks, school supplies, andall other educational expenses.
