HÀ NỘI — A new gameshow, which challenges contestants on financial and banking knowledge, will debut on national TV from November 25.

Entitled Tiền Khéo Tiền Khôn, which literally means Clever Money, Smart Money, the gameshow is co-produced by Vietnam Television (VTV) and the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV).

Speaking at a press conference about the gameshow at VTV, head of the Communication Department under the State Bank, Lê Thị Thúy Sen, said that the gameshow is part of a communication project, aiming to support the State plans, which have been approved by the Prime Minister. The plans include improving accessibility to banking services and increasing cashless payments in Việt Nam between 2016-2020.

“Our purpose is to improve public awareness on finance and banking, therefore reducing the risk for people using financial services, and to lessen social expenditure. In addition, the goal is also to enhance the accessibility to financial services, and promote cashless payments in Việt Nam,” she said.

Through several funny games, contestants as well as the audience can learn about how to properly use credit cards,  how to access different banking services, including savings products and loans, and other necessary information.

The Tiền Khéo Tiền Khôn gameshow will air on the VTV3 channel every Saturday on the second and fourth week of every month, from 3.10pm to 3.55pm. — VNS
