HÀ NỘI — Paintings of prehistoric creatures are being exhibited in the capital of Hà Nội.

They are illustrations from the book Gondwana: Mon Petit Museum D’Histoire Naturelle (Gondwana: My Museum of Natural History) by Henry Desmet and Sandrine Mercier.

It was translated into Vietnamese by Phan Hoàng and published by the Kim Đồng Publishing House.

PhD of biology, Prof Nguyễn Lân Dũng said that the book provides information and images of the world from its early stages.

“Children can easily access the knowledge of how the Earth took shape, the development of bio-diversity, the extinctions and progenitors of current animals.”

The exhibition will run until Wednesday at L’espace, 24 Tràng Tiền Street, Hà Nội. — VNS
