Ripe plum season in Phiêng Ban Valley

Located 30km from Điện Biên Phủ is Phiêng Ban Valley, one of the largest plum-growing areas in the province, with nearly 20ha.

The ripe plum season runs from the middle of May, and harvest season begins in the area. The plums have glossy skin. The outer shell is covered with white chalk, and the colour is bright. The fruit is large, delicious, and sweet thanks to the favourable climate and soil.
