HCM CITY — FashUP 2022, a competition for TikTok fashion and beauty content creators, has revealed its all-star panel of judges.

They are supermodel Võ Hoàng Yến, influencer Lê Thảo Nhi, and fashion designer Đỗ Long.

The show's host is celebrity makeup artist Nam Trung.

Organisers say this will be Lê Thảo Nhi's first time sitting as a judge in a big contest for content creators, and that she promises to add "great experiences" to the show.

The stunning 27-year-old revealed that she has high hopes that the contestants will show intelligence, innovation, great content, and most importantly, their own style in the competitions.

She said: "I am excited and ready to take on this new role. I hope to use my personal experiences and insights to support the contestants in developing their fashion mindset. Surely, this year's judges will uncover a new generation of TikTok fashion and beauty icons."

Thảo Nhi became famous after runner-up this year's Miss Universe Việt Nam pageant.

She has more than 190,000 subscribers to her TikTok channel, where she often posts about her everyday life, fashion, and beauty.

Yến, who competed for Việt Nam in Miss Universe 2009, has since been a judge on reality TV shows like Vietnam's Next Top Model and The Face Vietnam 2018.

She has 2.2 million followers on TikTok, where she posts videos on fashion that garner tens of thousands of likes and comments.

The runway phenomenon is predicted to be one of the most tough judges at FashUP 2022 due to her plethora of experience and skills in the fashion industry, as well as her straightforward personality.

Fashion designer Đỗ Long will be judging this year's Fashion Design Icon category.

Long formally switched to apparel design with the Do Long Boutique brand after many years working as a celebrity stylist.

Since its debut, the label has been a favourite of many models and beauty pageant competitors worldwide.

Đỗ Long, on his upcoming judging duties at FashUP 2022, said: "I will try to bring all my experience to pass on to the candidates. I hope that they'll be more motivated and inspired to express creativity in their fashion designs and content creation." — VNS

FashUP 2022 by TikTok is scheduled to air every Sunday at 8pm from October 2-16 on TikTok and rebroadcast on the show's other digital platforms.The live auditions will be held in HCM City on September 13-14, and the semi-finals will be televised as a reality television programme.The top 12 candidates will be able to showcase their talents at the Gala Fashion Night on October 23.
