VN aims for green sustainable growth

Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte attended the Green Economy Forum (GEF) 2023 in Hà Nội on Thursday. During the event, delegates engaged in discussions on various topics including how to create opportunities and address challenges in pursuing economic sustainability, energy security and sustainability, Việt Nam's position as a leader in green energy development in Southeast Asia, transparency and resilience of the financial system, efficient use of resources, as well as how Việt Nam can continue reducing its carbon footprint by lowering demand through optimised design and processes.

PM urges Dutch companies to increase high-tech cooperation with VN

Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính called on Dutch businesses to develop specific plans for enhancing cooperation with Vietnamese firms, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture, new energy, renewable energy, semiconductor, climate change adaptation and shipbuilding through projects with modern technology, high added value and competitiveness and capacity of participating in the global value chain.

Vietnamese firms urged to foster raw material imports from the UK

According to experts, the UK can be a source of quality raw materials for Việt Nam especially because raw materials that Việt Nam needs to import for export production or domestic consumption are items that Việt Nam offers preferential tariffs to the UK.
