HCM CITY — South Korean household appliances maker Lock&Lock gave gifts to 200 children at the SOS Children’s Village Gò Vấp in HCM City as part of its ‘Warm up’ programme.

Each child got a school bag, water bottle and pillow.

During the charity event, the company staff also organised games and art performances to cheer up the children.

The village currently has nearly 200 children who were in extremely difficult circumstances or orphaned.

Many who grew up there have since married and got steady jobs.— VNS
