Vinbus and Advantech co-operate for e-bus smart system development

Vinbus Ecology Transport Services Limited Liability Company (VinBus) and Advantech VN Co., Ltd. (Advantech VN) signed a strategic partnership agreement for e-bus smart system development on Wednesday, making VinBus the first bus system in Việt Nam equipped with modern technology to improve safety and provide modern services to customers.

HÀ NỘI — Vinbus Ecology Transport Services Limited Liability Company (VinBus) and Advantech VN Co., Ltd. (Advantech VN) signed a strategic partnership agreement for e-bus smart system development on Wednesday, making VinBus the first bus system in Việt Nam equipped with modern technology to improve safety and provide modern services to customers.

Under the agreement, VinBus and Advantech VN will conduct research and cooperate in business and support each other in terms of the technological platform and technical facilities such as AI camera to track the driver's behavior, Wifi for passengers, GPS and security tracking device, and fleet management software.

The intelligent tracking system will immediately alert in case the driver is distracted or tired. Service attitude, speed and travel schedules are also controlled to the maximum extent to ensure the best quality service. In addition, free wifi connection and an infotainment system, and convenient services on the bus will enable passengers to completely relax during the trip.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Nguyen Van Thanh, VinBus Deputy CEO said VinBus always gives top priority to quality and efficiency when choosing a partner for their projects. The agreement with Advantech is the next step of VinBus, followed by its strategic partnership with Star Charge - the leading international provider of charging equipment and solutions for electric vehicles.
