HÀ NỘI — Budget airline Pacific Airlines, a member of Vietnam Airlines Corporation formerly known as Jetstar Pacific Airlines, launched its new flight attendant uniform and brand identity after changing the name and reservation and ticketing system on Friday.
The brand name change was conducted in June after the airline ended an agreement on franchise and use of a joint system with Jetstar Group.
This change was approved by two major shareholders, Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Group (Australia), to improve the production and business activities and profitability of Pacific Airlines.
From July 31, all flight attendants of Pacific Airlines have worn a new uniform designed in a youthful and modern style but retaining elegance.
The dominant colour of the uniform and the new brand identity are inspired by the colour of Vietnam Airlines, with blue bringing a sense of security, sustainability while orange represents a youthful and energetic spirit.
The logo of Pacific Airlines is stylised from three wings of the aircraft with a layout arranged in larger sizes, a metaphor for its development efforts for nearly 30 years. With the message 'Joy to take off', Pacific Airlines promises every flight is a joy.
To enhance the efficiency of co-ordination among airlines in Vietnam Airlines Corporation, Pacific Airlines has also switched to the Saber reservation and ticketing system operated by Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Air Service Company.
In the first phase of this conversion, passengers can visit the website pacificairlines.com.vn or pacificairlines.com to book and purchase tickets. Check-in online will be redirected to the website vietnamairlines.com to perform the next steps. — VNS
