HÀ NỘI — The heads of six leading information and communications technology (ICT) companies will join a working group for the chairman of the National Committee on E-Government.
The firms are DTT, Viettel, VNPT, FPT, CMC and VietnamPost, and their chiefs are among the 18 members of the network security and technology solutions team formed under the working group.
The working group includes an institutional and administrative reform team with 15 members and a technology and security solutions team, ictnews.vn reported.
The head of the technology team is Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyễn Thành Hưng.
The six leaders of ICT firms joining the working group include the chairman and general director of DTT, Nguyễn Thế Trung.
The others are Nguyễn Thành Nam, deputy general director of Viettel; Huỳnh Quang Liêm, deputy general director of VNPT; Nguyễn Trung Chính, chairman and general director of CMC Technology Corporation; Nguyễn Quốc Vinh, member of the Members Council of Việt Nam Post Corporation (VietnamPost); and Phan Thanh Sơn, technology director of FPT Information System Company.
The National Committee on E-Government was established in August 2018 with Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc as its chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam as vice chairman.
Its members include Viettel Chairman Lê Đăng Dũng, VNPT Chairman of Members Council Trần Mạnh Hùng, VietnamPost Chairman of Members Board Phạm Anh Tuấn, and FPT Corporation Chairman Trương Gia Bình. VNS
