HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Planning and Investment has co-ordinated with various other ministries and agencies to create a programme to connect the country’s innovation networks.
The programme aims to attract Vietnamese experts who have trained and worked in countries where IT foundations are well-developed to help reshape the face of Việt Nam’s technological development and promising digital future.
Trần Quốc Phương, director of the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s National Economic Issues Department, said at a press briefing on Friday that the goal of the programme was to share the vision and strategic views of the country’s Party, State and Government leaders on the opportunities to make use of scientific and technological achievements in key fields for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.
It would also create networks and ecosystems linking intelligence with a collaborative mechanism for domestic and foreign firm.
This year’s programme will run from August 18-24 with the theme "Thăng Long Strength – Việt Nam Intelligence" and will include a series of activities in Hà Nội, HCM City and Quảng Ninh.
