HCM CITY – Vietbuild remains the biggest platform for the building materials manufacturing industry in seeking partners or investment, exhibitors said at the opening of the international exhibition in HCM City yesterday.
This year it has attracted 800 exhibitors from nearly 30 nations and territories who have brought advanced technologies and products in the construction, building materials, real estate and interior-exterior decoration segments.
More than half are from South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Demark, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Indonesia, the US, the UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Spain.
Talking to Bizhub, Nguyễn Văn Thanh, deputy general director of finance of Hoa Sen Group, said the exhibition has improved this year with many well-decorated booths.
“This annual event has helped companies much because the country has a lot of new construction. The demand for building materials is huge, offering plenty of opportunities to companies to showcase their new products and technologies.”
Seeing the demand, his company is showcasing new products at the event along with traditional products like steel sheets and pipes and plastic pipes, he said.
His company has taken part in the event many times and has managed to get new partners and contracts after each exhibition, he added.
Trương Đức of Đức Việt Trading Company, the distributor of Deton industrial fans in Việt Nam, concurred saying his company too benefited every time from taking part in the exhibition.
This year it plans to introduce some new technologies and products.
Many famous brands like Viglacera, Secoin, Đồng Tâm, Caesar, Hafele, Rossano, Eurowindow, Apollo, Prime, Megasun, and Aseanwindow are present at the event.
Vietbuild is on at the Sài Gòn Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 from June 24 to 28.
It is being organsied under the guidance of the Ministry of Construction. VNS
