HÀ NỘI - The Việt Nam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) is one of the ten strongest Vietnamese brands in 2022, according to Brand Finance.
Brand Finance has determined brand strength by assessing marketing investment, stakeholder equity and business performance.
Brand Finance also honoured Petrovietnam as one of the ten most valuable brands in Việt Nam. This is the third consecutive year that Petrovietnam has held this position.
At the same time, Petrovietnam has maintained its leading position as the most profitable enterprise in Việt Nam for four consecutive years conducted by the Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company.
The brand value of Petrovietnam is constantly increasing year by year. Petrovietnam's brand was valued at US$945 million in 2020, more than double that of 2019.
By 2022, this value increased to nearly $1.3 billion, maintaining its position among the ten most valuable brands in Việt Nam.
Petrovietnam's production and business activities have continued to maintain stably in all fields after two years of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, with crude oil output growth at 23 per cent in the first eight months of this year compared to the same period of last year.
It produced 4.56 million tons of petroleum, excluding Nghi Sơn Refinery and Petrochemical Company, an increase of 5 per cent annually. This output has met the domestic demand.
