Nguyễn Kim Phượng and her friends in Hà Nội’s Hai Bà Trưng District were so happy to relax and enjoy tasty and aromatic dishes at the newly-opened breakfast buffet at Ngon Garden Chillout, at 70 Nguyễn Du, one of most beautiful streets in Ha Noi.​

“Without having to go a far distance, we can relax at the restaurant which is surrounded by romantic music and fragrance from flowers and grass in the site’s tropical garden and enjoy traditional Vietnamese, Asian and European dishes here,” Phượng said, noting that she felt like she was at a luxury resort.

“When we arrived at the restaurant, we chose a table outside to enjoy the green environment in the ancient villa and in front of it is Thiền Quang Lake which helps to cool down summer heat so much,” said Phượng.

Her friend Khánh Thu said she liked sitting under a tree to enjoy lotus and ylang-ylang flowers. They help reduce all of her stress.

Restaurant owner Phạm Bích Hạnh said there are more than 50 fresh dishes on offer for diners including family members, friends and business partners.

Prominent among the buffet dishes to be served at the table is the traditional phở bò (beef noodle soup), phở gà ta (chicken noodle soup) hủ tiếu cá (noodles with fish), bún ốc riêu (vermicelli with snail and soup), famous bún bò Huế (Huế vermicelli with beef) and many others.

The ingredients of each dish are shipped from Việt Nam’s three regions, Hạnh said.

Furthermore, diners who enjoy healthy fresh cakes or fresh fruits such as apples, grapes and fruit juices, will also be very pleased to be here, she said.

Ngon Garden Chillout opens from 7-10am every Saturday and Sunday at Ngon Garden Restaurant with a price of VNĐ185,000 for an adult and half that for children and free for children under 1.1m in height.
