Two projects worth $215 million granted in Hà Nam

HÀ NỘI — The People's Committee of the northern province of Hà Nam province said that it had granted a decision on investment guidelines for two projects, worth nearly VNĐ5 trillion (US$214.6 million)

The projects are Yên Lệnh Hà Nam port cluster and Hồng Đức automobile assembly and manufacturing factory.

The Yên Lệnh Hà Nam project is invested by Hà Nam International Port Corporation, covering an area of nearly 63 hectares with a total investment of VNĐ2.6 trillion.

The port has a function of an inland waterway port, providing logistics and a multimodal transport.

The car manufacturing and assembling project is located in Duy Tiên town, invested by Hồng Đức Automobile Manufacturing Industry JSC.

The factory covers an area of nearly 22 hectares with a total investment of over VNĐ2.3 trillion.

The project's goal is to produce and assemble cars with up to nine seats, provide maintenance and repair services for automobiles and other motor vehicles. — VNS
