The Culture and Sports Department in Huế has signed an agreement to co-ordinate with the local Education and Training Department to add folk singing to the academic curriculum in schools.

Authorities have turned the famous Huế citadel into a night attraction, with the former palace hosting programmes reflecting life during the heydays of the Nguyễn Dynasty.

The former Imperial Palace in Huế will be lit up every night thanks to a light system installed by the Huế Monuments Conservation Centre, the local government body that manages the monuments.
