The southern province of Long An will be admitted as the 130th member of Tourism Promotion Organisation for Asia Pacific Cities (TPO), based in South Korea, in October.
Many provinces and cities have launched programmes this year to promote local consumer demand to support businesses as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect exports.
With the Government’s effective pandemic containment measures and initiatives to stimulate domestic tourism demand, sentiment towards travel is recovering.
Both expressed their satisfaction that the partnership established in July 2020 between the two countries is developing.
