Ingredients:

  • 6 dried plums
  • 4 kumquats, halved
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Soda

Preparation:

  • Place 6 whole dried plums in a cocktail shaker then pour in 10ml of sugar syrup and the juice of the four kumquats.
  • Fill the shaker or jar with ice cubes. Cover the shaker or jar tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine the ingredients and chill the drink.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, discarding the ice and kumquat solids.
  • Garnish the rim of the glass with a slice of kumquat for a decorative touch, then fill the glass with soda.
  • Savour the refreshing and tangy flavours of the drink. The combination of kumquat sweetness, soda fizz, and a hint of sugar syrup makes for a delightful and invigorating beverage.
