Việt Nam head to Bali for World Cup qualifier

Việt Nam national team has left for Bali for their third match at the 2022 World Cup qualification round against Indonesia.

HÀ NỘI — Hot on heels of their World Cup win against Malaysia, Việt Nam boarded the plane to Bali for their next game in the qualifying stages.

After their 1-0 victory, the team will have four training days before facing Indonesia who are bottom of the group after back-to-back defeats with Việt Nam currently sit in the second spot.

After their Malaysia win, the players will receive VNĐ3.7billion (US$160,000) from national enterprises and individuals while midfielder Nguyễn Quang Hải received VNĐ400 million for his opening goal. — VNS
