HÀ NỘI — Ronald Oranza of the Philippine Navy won the 10th stage of the VTV International Cycling Tournament – Tôn Hoa Sen Cup yesterday.
Oranza finished the 168km stage from Quy Nhơn City of Bình Định Province to Pleiku City of Gia Lai Province in a time of 4:39.27.
Phan Hoàng Thái of Pharmacy Domesco Đồng Tháp and David van Eerd of the Netherlands’ Global Cycling Team were the runners-up.
Eerd retained the yellow jersey for best overall time and the green jersey as best sprinter.
Sarda Javier Perez of Lộc Trời Group holds the red jersey as the King of Mountain, while Purnomo Setiawan of Indonesia’s PGN beat Huỳnh Thanh Tùng of Military Zone 7 to take the white jersey as the best young cyclist.
Today, cyclists will compete in the 11th stage from Pleiku to Buôn Mê Thuột City, lasting 179 km. — VNS
