HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s national futsal team beat Spain’s UMA club 2-0 on penalties in a friendly match during their training in Spain on August 23.
The Southeast Asian team were trailing 0-1 after the first half, before Trần Văn Vũ equalised the score in the 30th minute.
UMA again took the lead a few minutes later after a counter-attack.
But Trần Thái Huy levelled the score again with a shot from a narrow angle.
In the penalty shootout, Huy and Captain Nguyễn Bảo Quân scored one each, while UMA failed.
Việt Nam earlier lost 1-4 to the Spanish national team on August 20.
They will next play JAEN club, who won the local championship last year, on August 26.
