VTV holds right to broadcast Euro 2016

Vietnam Television (VTV) has successfully secured the right to broadcast all 51 matches of the 2016 UEFA European Championship in Việt Nam, the TV station said.

HCM CITY (VNS) — Vietnam Television (VTV) has successfully secured the right to broadcast all 51 matches of the 2016 UEFA European Championship in Việt Nam, the TV station said.

This was announced at a press conference held yesterday in HCM City.

Euro 2016 matches will be broadcast on a number of VTV channels, including VTV3, VTV3HD, VTV6 and VTV6HD. The station will also produce other programmes associated with the European football event, such as match analyses and tournament highlights.

Other TV stations in the country that intend to rebroadcast Euro 2016 matches must register with the VTV representative office before April 20 and sign a guarantee to broadcast the entire VTV programme. — VNS
