Việt Nam reported two imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday evening, bringing the total number of patients in Việt Nam to 1,215, according to the Ministry of Health.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam reported two imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday evening, bringing the total number of patients in Việt Nam to 1,215, according to the Ministry of Health.

Patient 1,214, male, 32, resides in the Mekong Delta province of Cần Thơ and patient 1,215, male, 31, lives in Hà Nội. They returned to Việt Nam from the Netherlands on flight VN5032 on November 7 via Cần Thơ airport.

They were quarantined in Cần Thơ Province’s Cần Thơ City upon arrival.

They tested positive for the virus on November 8 and are being treated at Cần Thơ Lung Hospital.

The ministry also reported that 17 more COVID-19 patients have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of people to have been given the all-clear to 1,087. — VNS
