The SEA HERMES ship’s captain requested the urgent evacuation of the ill crewmember for medical treatment.

Upon receiving this information, the centre guided the ship to move to waters near Vũng Tàu city for further assistance.

Faced with a life-threatening emergency situation, and under the direction of the National Committee for Disaster Incident Response and Search and Rescue, the Ministry of Transport, and the Việt Nam Maritime Administration, a specialised search-and-rescue ship SAR 413 carrying rescuers and doctors was sent from the centre to the scene and collected the ill crewmember.
