ABU DHABI — The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) participated with a special stall in the second edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC) held held from 14th – 16th November, 2023 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The GMC, organised by the ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with Emirates News Agency (WAM), is known as one of the largest and most inclusive media gatherings in the world.

During the event, the GMC focused on four central themes: sustainability, innovation, the latest media technologies, and discussions on sports media, youth, education, and the future of media.

Speaking at the GMC, Nguyen Duc Vu, Director VNA Technology Centre, said: “At this media congress, the Vietnam News Agency has for the first time participated in both the discussion sessions and in setting up an exhibition booth at the exhibition area. This is really a good opportunity for promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam as well as promoting the brand and information products of the Vietnam News Agency”.

VNA's involvement in the GMC aligns with the partnership agreement signed between VNA and WAM for media cooperation at various levels. — VNA/VNS
