HÀ NỘI — French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe begins an official visit to Việt Nam today.
The three-day visit is made at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.
The French leader is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, including the Minister of Solidarity and Health, the Minister of Public Action and Accounts and the Minister of Economy and Finance.
Việt Nam and France set up diplomatic ties on April 12, 1973. Bilateral relations have developed well over the past 45 years, especially since the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2013. — VNS
