Việt Nam considers Japan an important and long-term partner, President Trần Đại Quang said while hosting a reception for Japanese Minister of Economic Revitalisation, Toshimitsu Motegi, in Hà Nội yesterday.

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc had a meeting with World Bank (WB) Vice President for the East Asia and Pacific Victoria Kwakwa on Tuesday on the sidelines of the ongoing APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in the central city of Đà Nẵng.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Phạm Bình Minh held separate meetings with Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono and Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Philipp Roesler in the central city of Đà Nẵng on Tuesday within the framework of the APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week. 

President Trần Đại Quang hosted receptions for the newly accredited ambassadors from the US, Nigeria and Greece in Hà Nội on Monday.
