HÀ NỘI — With just one week remaining until voters head to the polls on March 15, cities and provinces across Việt Nam are accelerating final preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels.

Notice boards in residential quarters display neatly printed voter rolls and candidate lists. Over the loudspeaker system, reminders about key dates and procedures punctuate the day.
