The South Korean Cultural Centre and Lào Cai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold Korean Culture Day in Sa Pa Town on Saturday.

Seoul hosts international photojournalism exhibition on COVID-19

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is hosting an event titled “2020 Seoul International Photojournalism Exhibition: 2020 Seoul of New Hope” both offline and online till December 20 to exhibit photos taken by global photojournalists who capture moments of “chaos, desperation, courage and hope” at the very front line of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world.

Awards for writing contest handed out

 A story writing contest held by Việt Nam More Production and Kim Đồng Publishing House wrapped up on October 20 with prizes given to winners in Hà Nội.

New musical by singer-turned-director debuts

Singer Ánh Tuyết made her professional stage musical directorial debut with Trại Hoa Vàng (Yellow Flower Farm) last month in Hà Nội.  Ánh Tuyết performs in the Việt Nam Youth Theatre's sing and dance troupe.  Lao Động (Labour) newspaper reporter Nội Hà interviews her about her new work as a director.

A painting of Ha Noi's Long Biên Bridge won the top prize at the painting contest Green City in the Future, organised by the Kim Đồng Publishing House in co-ordination with the Hà Nội Council of the Hồ Chí Minh Young Pioneers Organisation.
