HÀ NỘI — DJ Heyder Eliyev from Azerbaijan will perform at the Fun Beach Festival, a music festival, at East Sea Park in Đà Nẵng City on August 12-14.

Heyder is an original and creative producer. He has been fond of music since childhood and has aimed to get the right education to compose and perform it. He has composed hits such as Shelter (Dash Berlin ft Roxanne Emery), I want you to know (Zedd ft Selena Gomez) and Together and many more (Armin van Buuren).

“Trance music is the only destination for me. It is so hard to say with words. It is my world,” he said on his Facebook page.

The event organisers said the third edition of the festival, previously held in Bình Thuận and Vũng Tàu, will bring three days of exciting music performances by top Vietnamese DJs Giang Nguyễn, who is known for traditional music remixes, Ice and Zin, as well as foreign DJs and artists.

The festival will also comprise camping, beach sports, and team-building events, besides entertainment activities.

The Fun Beach Festival will also include community activities such as a beach clean-up, city tours and visits to underprivileged people.

It’s expected that up to 10,000 fans will participate. Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.ticketbox.vn.

Eliyev’s performance attracted the attention of Vietnamese fans because recently he announced that the latest single of Sơn Tùng MTP “sounds quite similar to my remix We Don’t Talk Anymore”, he wrote on his fanpage.

The song has been performed by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez since April.

“The only difference between the two tracks is the language,” said Eliyev.

“It’s not difficult to realise the surprising similarity between the songs, you don’t have to be a professional to know that.”

Tùng is one of the most beloved singers among young people in Việt Nam. Questions over his song Chúng ta không thuộc về nhau (We don’t belong to each other), and whether it has been plagiarised from Eliyev’s remix or not have attracted controversy. — VNS
