LÂM ĐỒNG — Students at the Đà Thanh Primary School in the Central Highlands Province of Lâm Đồng’s Đà Lạt city on June 26 kicked off cultural exchanges and experiential activities with 40 visiting lecturers and volunteer students from the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Gyeongsang National University.

Over the course of seven days until July 2, the Korean group will organise a variety of life skills education activities and run classes teaching the Korean language, Taekwondo, and K-Pop Dance, while helping the Vietnamese school repair its restrooms and decorate corridor walls. They are also set to donate 14 laptops to Đà Thanh.

In recent years, Lâm Đồng has seen growing relations with various RoK provinces and cities.

In 2023, the number of foreign visitors to Đà Lạt surged, with Korean tourists accounting for 80 per cent of the total. In the first six months of 2024, Lâm Đồng hosted some 301,000 foreign travellers, most of them are from the RoK. — VNS
