HCM CITY — The outstanding achievements and activities of workers and trade unions in HCM City over the past five years are depicted through a photo exhibition that opened on Tuesday at the city Labour Cultural Palace.

The exhibition, entitled “HCM City Trade Unions – The faith of labourers”, features 224 photos presenting the work of trade unionists and labourers and their contributions to national industrialisation and modernisation.

The photos also depict the continued efforts of trade unions at different levels to fulfill their role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of labourers.

Organised by the HCM City Labour Federation, the exhibition is part of activities to celebrate the 12th Congress of the HCM City Labour Federation which will take place on September 22-24.

The photos are displayed until September 30.

Also on September 19, the Hồ Chí Minh Cultural Space debuted at the Labour Cultural Palace to showcase literary and artistic works and documentary films about President Hồ Chí Minh.

It is expected to create a space for workers and trade unionists in the city to study and follow President Hồ Chí Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle. — VNS
