HÀ NỘI — SSI Security Corporation has appointed Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng as chairman of SSI Asset Management Co. Ltd from this week.

Hùng will replace Nguyễn Duy Hưng, who has held the position of chairman of SSIAM and chairman and general director of SSI for many years. Hùng resigns for personal reasons.

Hùng has a bachelor’s degree in economic law from the HCM City University of Law and is known as one of the founders of SSI.

Before being appointed chairman of SSIAM, he was chairman of Nguyễn Sài Gòn Company Limited and a member of the HCM City Bar Association, and has worked in the field of economic law for many years.

With his knowledge in finance and economy as well as SSI and SSIAM, rich experience in corporate management and business strategy, and deep understanding of economic law, he is expected to bring new breakthroughs to SSIAM, given the opportunities that exist for the fund industry in Việt Nam, which still has a lot of room for development.  VNS
