Việt Nam will become a key market for luxury watches, according the CEO of Swiss watchmaker Hublot.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam will become a key market for luxury watches, according the CEO of Swiss watchmaker Hublot.

Ricardo Guadalupe told Việt Nam News the company could double or triple its business in the country in the next five years.

Hublot came to Việt Nam last year with one shop in Hà Nội and a pop-up store in HCM City.

Last week it opened the Hublot Boutique Hà Nội at the Hotel Sofitel Metropole.

This is its fourth boutique in Southeast Asia, all of them operated by its retail partner, The Hour Glass.

In Việt Nam, the company’s products are distributed by The Hour Glass S&S, a joint venture with local partner Sam & Sassy.

Hublot was founded in 1980 by Italian Carlo Crocco. — VNS
