NGHỆ AN — A groundbreaking ceremony has taken place for La Brise, a major coastal resport project in Tân Mai Ward, Nghệ An Province.
The project has total investment of VNĐ2.15 trillion (about US$82 million) and covers nearly 218ha, featuring a high-end resort, an 18-hole golf course and a range of coastal amenities.
According to the Nghệ An provincial portal, the provincial People’s Committee held a technical groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which is invested by Sunwin Company Limited. La Brise is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2029.
The project comprises three main zones. The approximately 89ha resort area will include luxury villas, a five-star hotel and high-end services and amenities. An international-standard 18-hole golf course will cover about 90ha, while another 38.75ha will be devoted to greenery and ecological landscapes.
The project is located in the Hoàng Mai-Đông Hồi area, which is emerging as a new growth hub of Nghệ An, supported by an expanding network of industrial parks, urban areas, services and transport infrastructure. The area is home to major projects including Hoàng Mai I and Hoàng Mai II industrial parks and several nearby industrial zones.
Once completed, La Brise is expected to become a new destination for resort tourism, sports and leisure in the North Central coastal region. It will also provide accommodation and recreational services for experts, investors and workers in the area’s industrial parks.
The project is expected to make better use of the area’s coastal potential, diversify tourism products, boost trade and services, create jobs and contribute to local socio-economic development.
Following the technical groundbreaking, the investor will complete the required procedures before proceeding with construction, with the aim of putting the entire project into operation in the fourth quarter of 2029. — BIZHUB/VNS
