HÀ NỘI — The Trade Remedies Authority said that it has issued a questionnaire for an investigation involving foreign producers and exporters in the end-of-period review for anti-dumping measures on some mononatri glutamate (MSG) products from Indonesia and China.
Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) released Decision No. 1947/QĐ-BCT concerning the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on some MSG products from Indonesia and China (case code: ER01.AD09) on July 23.
Detailed information on the scope, content and investigation timeline is presented in Decision No. 1947/QĐ-BCT and the accompanying notification.
The Trade Remedies Authority (Investigating Agency), under the MoIT, has dispatched the official investigation questionnaire to foreign manufacturing and exporting enterprises identified by the Investigating Agency for questionnaire completion.
The deadline for responding to the investigation questionnaire is before 5pm on September 10 (local time).
To protect their rights and interests, the Investigating Agency urges all relevant foreign manufacturers and exporters to actively engage and cooperate during the investigation.
The responses received will determine the selection of a sample for the investigation's scope, if needed. Failure to provide timely or accurate information may lead the Investigating Agency to draw conclusions based on available data, as outlined in Article 75 of the Foreign Trade Management Law.
Information and data provided while responding to the Investigating Agency's questionnaire, as well as access to case information for involved parties during the investigation, will adhere to the legal data security regulations outlined in Article 11 of Decree No. 10/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 15, 2018, which details aspects of the Foreign Trade Management Law concerning trade defence measures.
Detailed instructions on how to complete each section, along with submission methods and deadlines, are provided within the questionnaire for enterprises.
Therefore, it is recommended that enterprises thoroughly review the guidelines before responding and ensure the timely submission of their responses. — VNS
