The awards acknowledge the remarkable milestones achieved by Pharmacity. The judges considered the unique and innovative initiatives that Pharmacity introduced to serve customers and accelerate its business growth and recognised the company’s performance over the past two challenging years.
Exceptional growth despite unprecedented challenges
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Pharmacity expanded its chain to over 1,100 stores nationwide, and gross sales increased by 100 per cent with the support of loyal customers.
During the pandemic, Pharmacity staff were on the frontlines of the pandemic to ensure the drug-supply chain, other healthcare products, and necessary goods for people. During this time, Pharmacity maintained operations and led an expansion plan, determined to serve customers, and protect people.
Pharmacity launched an online shopping door-to-door delivery service for prescriptions and healthcare items across its website (pharmacity.vn) and the Pharmacity App to ensure that customers could access quality-assured medicines and healthcare products while staying safe at home.
At the same time, Pharmacity is transforming into an omnichannel business in response to the rapidly changing marketplace.
The Company’s internal systems track over 10,000 data points across every facet of the industry in almost real-time to support the Company in managing stores efficiently.
The Company has also invested significantly in forecasting and replenishment software, enabling Pharmacity to anticipate product demand and optimise inventory so customers can access essential products when and where they need them.
