ĐÀ NẴNG — The Đà Nẵng Department of Tourism has launched a tourism programme titled “Đà Nẵng - Summer Destination 2017” to establish the city’s reputation as a prime coastal destination and develop it into a venue for events.

It includes several activities, such as the Sơn Trà Peninsula Cycling Tournament and the Sơn Trà Adventure Run.

There was a cooking contest called “Best Dishes of Đà Nẵng” on Thursday.

A Paragliding contest over Tiên Sa from June 23 to 25 will see 50 members from teams like VietWings and Hà Nội Paragliding joined by 20 freelance paragliders from all over the country.

Over 150 professional models will take part in a bikini flash mob, “Well-dressed for a swim in the sea”.

The Summer Tourism Programme runs from June 17 until 25 with major events taking place at Biển Đông Park and Phạm Văn Đồng Beach. — VNS
