The central city of Đà Nẵng will host the Asia Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) on November 14, following the APEC Summit.
The coastal city of Đà Nẵng is hosting the sixth Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) 2017 for the first time. The week-long event (May 7-13) has attracted 650 participants from 36 countries and territories, of which 240 are golf tourism operators.
The growing interest in central Việt Nam’s potential to become the world’s next great golf destination was on display earlier this week, when the first of two major golf conferences scheduled for Đà Nẵng this year took place in and around the budding beach city.
Việt Nam has 32 golf courses nationwide, and 60 others are planned, but golf tourism has yet to take off due to poor connections among travel agencies and golf tour operators.
Over 5,000 athletes and tourists will participate in the annual Đà Nẵng International Marathon – one of the biggest sport event in central Việt Nam – on August 6th, 2017.
The central city of Đà Nẵng will host the 6th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) – the premier golf travel event in the Asia-Pacific region – combining a golf tour with tourism meetings from May 7 to 13, 2017.
