ĐỒNG THÁP - The southern province of Đồng Tháp is launching four attractive tours during the Sa Đéc Flower Festival beginning this weekend.

To proactively provide timely and accurate information related to the first ever festival featuring the Sa Đéc flower village, the Đồng Tháp Electronic Information Portal officially introduced the Sa Đéc Flower Festival page at https://dongthap.gov.vn.

The Sa Đéc Flower Festival website is designed vividly with images of characteristic flowers and bonsai of Sa Đéc Village, predominantly in pink and green colours.

The webpage includes key sections such as the programme, festival news, press releases, press coverage of the festival, the organising committee, competitions, images and videos, among others.

Additionally, the webpage provides information about Sa Đéc flowers and bonsai, such as the history of the flower village, the floriculture industry, tourist attractions in the village, and the distinctive flowers of Sa Đéc.

In the "What do you like about the first Sa Đéc Flower Festival" section, readers can interact and send opinions to the festival organisers.

According to Huỳnh Minh Tuấn, vice chairman of the People's Committee of Đồng Tháp (the provincial government), district and city authorities have been instructed to carry out visual advertising for the first festival on main roads.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism collaborates and supports the district and city authorities in carrying out advertising activities for the festive event.

In conjunction with the flower festival, the Trade, Tourism, and Investment Promotion Centre of Đồng Tháp has developed four new experiential tourism programmes to serve visitors.
