Việt Nam to face regional rivals Thailand in AFF Cup final

Việt Nam will play the first leg final against Thailand, who beat Malaysia 3-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals, at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium at 7.30 pm on January 13. After that, the two teams will play again in the second leg final at Thammasat Stadium at 7.30 pm on January 16.

Việt Nam’s national stadium in Hà Nội has come in for plenty of criticism in recent years due to the quality of the playing surface, and that’s continued in the ongoing AFF Championship.
