As Hà Nội secured both the V.League 1 and National Cup title, their rival in the super cup, which is the opening game of the 2023 season, is the V.League 1 runner-up Hải Phòng, making a northern derby.

 Việt Nam Television Cable Corporation (VTVcab) on January 7 annouced its official broadcasting right of the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games which will be held this May in Cambodia.

"It is an important game. My contract will end by the end of this tournament. If I lose tomorrow, it would be my final match with Viêt Nam, otherwise, I will have two more to go," said coach Park.

Nguyễn Thị Thật is currently the best cyclist in Việt Nam, and is still hunting for more titles.
