Less votive paper for healthier minds

It is estimated that Vietnamese people burn around 60,000 tonnes of votive paper each year, which means they spend around US$237 million that just goes up in smoke. This is not only a waste of money but also harms the environment and in some cases, can be dangerous. Some pagodas are now taking steps to eradicate this ancient tradition.

Community to keep women safe on cyberspace

If women do not know how to protect themselves, they will be at high risk of being abused in cyberspace, not only through fraud but also invasion of their privacy. Women and girls need to be informed and understand the ways to protect themselves. Therefore, the Việt Nam Women's Union strengthens training to provide skills for its members.
