Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on March 31 released Instruction 16 on social distancing nationwide from April 1 to 15 to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from spreading. Chairman of the Hà Nội People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Chung also released Instruction 05 on urgent measures to control the pandemic, in which social distancing was one of the most important.
