Novaland builds primary school in Mekong province

Ground has been broken for a primary school in Hong Ngu District in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Dong Thap funded by property company Novaland.

ĐỒNG THÁP – Ground has been broken for a primary school in Hồng Ngự District in the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Đồng Tháp funded by property company Novaland.

Long Khánh A3 school will be built to national school standards and opened in the 2020-21 school year.

The 2,000sq.m school will have 10 classrooms that can accommodate 350 children.

It will be the first school in Hồng Ngự District to have a gymnasium, library, foreign language room, art room, IT room, medical room, and hall.

Nguyễn Hữu Tiến, head of the Hồng Ngự District Education and Training Office, said the school would offer local students a better studying environment.

Novaland has been supporting education in the locality for many years.

For the last 14 years its Nhế Teacher Scholarships have been given to thousands of disadvantaged students in Long Khánh District.

It has spent billions of đồng in the period to improve teaching conditions.

Education is one of four fields Novaland has supported under its corporate social responsibility programmes, he others being healthcare, social welfare and community development.

It has donated over VNĐ275 billion on the programmes. -- VNS
