HÀ NỘI — The number of Chinese tourists to Việt Nam in the first two month this year increase 7.5 times over the same period lasr year, according to the General Statistics Office.
The Chinese visitors reached 300,000 in February.

Chinese tourists' interest in traveling to Việt Nam this year reached 95 per cent compared to 2020 - the time before travel restrictions due to the COVID pandemic.
The top five locations chosen by Chinese tourists are HCM City, Hà Nội, Nha Trang city, Đà Nẵng City and Phú Quốc Island.
Last year, Việt Nam welcomed more than 1.74 million Chinese visitors.
However, in terms of total number of visitors, the the number of Chinese tourists still ranks second, after Korea with 426,500 visitors in February and 844,000 in two months. — VNS

Data from the province showed that revenue from hydro-power projects accounts for nearly 70 per cent of the province’s total budget revenue for the two years of 2022 and 2023, about VNĐ1.6 trillion (US$65.3 million).
