Việt Nam, together with ASEAN countries, also called for the support of UN member states in implementing the Southeast Asian Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone Treaty (SEANWFZ), considering it an important contribution to efforts promoting regional and international peace and security.

The Politburo has issued Resolution No. 71 on breakthroughs in education and training. To quickly bring the Resolution to life, Party General Secretary Tô Lâm called on the entire Party to renew its mindset in educational leadership, moving away from outdated practices, and ensuring robust, effective implementation.

The legislative work will dominate this session, with the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewing 14 draft laws, spanning economic, human rights, defence, security, science, and innovation.

PM Phạm Minh Chính reiterated that building and perfecting legal institutions is one of the country’s three strategic breakthroughs.

Party committees have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, closely following directions from higher-level committees and playing a pivotal role in guiding and supporting grassroots operations during the process.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Thị Thu Hằng called on Italy to help Vietnamese enterprises improve competitiveness, increase imports of Vietnamese goods such as aquatic products, textiles, garments, and wooden furniture.

 Deputy Foreign Minister Đặng Hoàng Giang noted that leaders of Việt Nam and Cuba discussed many important and strategic issues to further deepen the special friendship between the two countries.
