Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and his wife on Thursday laid flowers in tribute to President Hồ Chí Minh at his Statue in the Asian Civilizations Museum (ACM) as part of their ongoing official visit to Singapore.

The PM met President and Chief Executive Officer of The Boston Consulting Group Hans-Paul Bürkner, staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, and members of the Vietnamese community yesterday.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Đỗ Hùng Việt emphasised that relations between Việt Nam and the two countries the PM will visit are based on many similarities in politics, economy, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

The diplomat pledged to cooperate closely with the group as well as the National Congress in organising more meaningful activities in order to bring the bilateral relationship to a new height.
