The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre will host an art conversation “The Undercurrents of Vietnamese Modern Sculpture Pre/Post-1975 Until Now: an Introduction” on May 22.

The conversation will feature Vietnamese sculptors Bùi Hải Sơn, 64, and Phạm Đình Tiến, 33, who will share their experiences and perspectives about sculpture in Việt Nam before and after 1975, and in the early 2000s. 

Sơn, a lecturer of sculpture at HCM City Architecture University, has had held solo and group exhibitions in Việt Nam, South Korea and Japan. Tiến, a graduate from the HCM City University of Fine Arts, is now a lecturer of sculpture at the school.

The event will take place from 3-5pm at 15 Nguyễn Ư Dĩ Street in District 2 with a maximum of 30 participants. Entrance fee is VNĐ150,000. — VNS
