LÂM ĐỒNG – The programme series "Cultural exchange and tourism connection between Lâm Đồng, Việt Nam and Ladakh, India" takes place from December 27 to 30.
This is a significant event, marking the promotion of a close cooperative relationship between Lâm Đồng Province and the Ladakh region, and commemorating the 130th anniversary of Đà Lạt city.
At the opening ceremony of the "Cultural exchange and tourism introduction between Lâm Đồng Province, Việt Nam and Ladakh, India," held on the evening of December 27 at Lâm Viên Square (Đà Lạt city), vice chairman of Lâm Đồng People’s Committee Phạm S highly appreciated the cultural heritage, potential and advantages in tourism development of India and specifically the Ladakh region.

At the same time, he introduced the culture of Lâm Đồng along with its unique tourism products, as well as opportunities and potential that can be achieved with tourism connections between the two regions of the two countries.
"After this programme, we hope to continue to have close connections in culture and tourism between the two localities, thereby opening up many opportunities for cooperation in various fields between Lâm Đồng and Ladakh, India," emphasised the vice chairman of Lâm Đồng People’s Committee.
Mr. Tashi Gyalson, Executive Councillor - Chairman of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Ladakh Development Council, shared that India and Việt Nam are strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas, from trade, business exchanges, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges to human connections.
As a representative of Ladakh, he considered it an honour and privilege to introduce the unique wonders of his homeland through this event.
At the exchange session, the organising committee showed two videos "Đà Lạt - Lâm Đồng, investment opportunities and attracting tourists" and "Ladakh - Indian." Art troupes from both sides also performed distinctive artistic acts.
With rich tourism resources, a mild climate, beautiful natural landscapes, and valuable heritage, Lâm Đồng Province has all the elements to develop cultural tourism. Notably, the Samten Hills Đà Lạt spiritual and cultural tourist site in Lâm Đồng Province is a new bright spot for Vietnamese tourism in 2023.
